Book Review: The one by John Marrs

Book: The One

Author: @johnmarrs.author

Publisher: @delreybooks

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
“A quick DNA test to find your prefect partner- the one you’re genetically made for. A decade after scientists discover everyone has a gene they share with just one other person, millions have taken the test. Desperate to find true love.”
The one revolved around five peoole who took the test and found their soulmates. But every person has a secret. Some even deadlier than others.

What i loved about this book was how interesting the content was, it was so different and it felt very realistic. I loved how the person gets attracted to their match instantly, it shows how authentic the study and tests were. My most favorite match were Ellie and Tim, but oh well..
What i dint like was that there were way too many characters in this book, the book was slow in the beginning but it picked up pace real quick.
Overall i do understand why this book was so hyped, it was a good and easy read. I read most of the book in one sitting and I was satisfied with all the 5 endings. I loved how twisted it turned out to be in the end, the plot and the storyline both were amazing! 😍
I do recommend this book to anyone who loves physiological thrillers with evil twisted plots 😛
