The Abduction by John Grisham

Book: The abduction, Theodore Bone series

Author: John Grisham @johngrishamauthor

Publisher: @hodderbooks

My rating: ⭐️⭐️/5

Theodore Boone and April Finnemore are best of friends, they call/chat to each other every night before going to bed. They go to school together, they hang out together. Their lives were main stream: school, park, home, talks at night, repeat. Until, one night at 4 the Boones get a call and were asked to rush to the Finnemores house; April was gone, no trace of forced entry, no evidence, nothing at all. Theo knows every secret that the Finnemores are hiding. He keeps them a secret because April swore him to silence. Until a body shows up in their town, even though the body is proven to be someone else’s and not Aprils; Theodore can not resist sitting home and do nothing, specially not after his whiz tech kicks in and he follows the trails of her fathers and ends up finding a shocking trail. He goes all detective with the help of his friend Chase and his only uncle Ike Boone to find his best friend April.
The book gave Nancy Drew feels, would recommend it to young readers.
